Skanders Tralvaar - CaC2 Day

As you may have known, October 5th was CaC2 day.  If you missed it, don't worry.  CaC2 days are officially the fifth of every month - please note that it is your fifth, be that American, New Zealandan, or Zambabian.

So what is CaC2 Day?  Aside from the expected crazy fan boy or fan girl-ism over the epicness of CaC2, it is the day to dress up like a character from CaC2 of your choosing.  It doesn't have to be your own character, though you may want to ask permission from the author of the character before dressing up like him or her.

To my knowledge, only Dmitri and I have had the liberty of participating in CaC2 day.  I dressed up like my soon-to-be character, Skanders Tralvaar.  But since you know virtually nothing about him, I'll prerelease his profile to you all.

Name:  Skanders Tralvaar
Age:  15
Gender:  Male
Position:  Bounty Hunter
Race:  Human
Appearance:  Short but ragged dusty light brown hair and light blue eyes.  He wears a leather jacket and leather backpack,
filled with a dozen different gadgets and other trivial (but deadly) things.  He sometimes wears a khaki fishing hat, but
prefers his green nightvision goggles.  He has a short black dagger, tan pants with one leg ripped off from the knee down,
some small explosives tucked in his sleeve, and a small arrow-caster, which shoots small electric bolts at laser speed;
they can both kill or stun.  He wears a hard expression constantly.
Personality:  He tries to stay cool and confident even after succesful "elimination" missions, but inside is weak and
insecure.  He tries to stay cool and confident, that is.  Just about everyone he knows sees straight through him.  He
has a soft spot for naive children, and feels cheated of his early life.  That's all I've got right now.
Armor:  Not much.  He relies on agility over armor - probably a bad move.
Weapons:  A hundred different gadgets, including small detonation bombs, a short black knife, a small bow caster, and a
scowl that could kill a Moonrascal (galaxies away . . .)
Abilities:  He's fast and light on his feet, and can scrape through just about any situation.
Weaknesses:  He's not good with medicine or healing.  He's fairly insecure, though doesn't know why and scolds himself
about it.
History:  He was raised by a Sith Trooper named Capone, but Capone clearly didn't want to do it.  There was a hidden
benefactor from the start.  Parents were never mentioned.  Skanders knew enough not to bring it up.

Be forewarned, I don't look like him too much, aside from short dusty brown hair and blue eyes.

I honestly don't know why I tried.  But it might give you an idea.  I look about two years younger than I am, in my opinion, but whatever.  Oh, and yes, those are just random things I picked up from around the house.  And technically, Skanders doesn't have his own saber, but maybe he 'borrowed' one from his teacher for the picture . . .

Well, that's it.

  1. You look older than you did.
Skanders was younger than I thought he'd be, from what you told me before.

    1. From when? I probably was. XD I know the one picture of myself that can be found on the internet was from almost three years ago.

Uh-huh. Fifteen isn't a definite age, but that's what I'm going with for now.

  3. I'm loving the costume. Very good job putting it together. Skandar sounds cool too.

Totally putting CaC2 day on my calender now. Maybe next time I'll think to put together a costume of my own. (Even if I won't be able to post pics.)

    1. I could do that fairly easily I think. It took all in all about 45 minutes for that costume, though. ;)

  5. I instead of costumes, I might make some sort of craft for the next CaC2 day. Like a replica of the holocron or a diorama depicting the battle of Mandalore. XD

  7. A Lego diorama would be cool. XD We could also make lightsabers out of old paper towel rolls. :P It'd actually be a lot of fun... We might be able to do curved handles, or special patterns on the hilts. They could be replicas of our characters' sabers. :D
