Yes …the Characters page is out of date. I need to put CNG's characters up there, and any other character anyone else may have created since then.
I'll do that once I get the Underground back.
Speaking of which, the October Character of the Month voting is almost over. If you haven't voted yet, head over to the voting page and leave a vote for one of the five nominated characters—Essa Haniri, Naina Raynt, Si Dan, Gnawthrul Haniri, and Kian Shekk.
Editors: Have a look at the new page in the bar above. If you want your email there, send me an email using the email address you want me to put there. You don't have to put your email address there.
Ellron: How's the Jorus minifigure coming along?
Everyone else: Share a moment in the CaC2 Battle that you really loved, that really touched you, or angered you. Have at it.
EDIT: Good news! I'm getting a new computer, which hopefully means Labyrinth of Death will be able to continue!

A moment in CaC2 that I really loved? Oh gosh. Now there's a lengthy subject. I'll just make a list and save you a lot of rambling.
ReplyDelete1. When Kian tried to knock that Sith (either Zuc'ar or Jaraal) off the top of his fighter by almost going to lightspeed.
2. When Si died and when Jorus died
3. When Essa force choked Honar
4. When Sprinkley Donuts was introduced
5. When Ari was discovered to be in the back of the ship
6. When Alessa asked Essa to be her new Mama. ;P
7. When Gnawthrul was killed--oh wait, that hasn't happened yet . . .
It was Jaraal. Imagine. Kian's fought one of the Sith Consuls and nearly killed him.
DeleteHa. Numbers 3 and 7 were funny. Ari's location was a bit of a twist. And it began the process that changed Essa, I think.
I thought it was Jaraal. And back then, Jaraal didn't have the power of Zaul, so I wonder what a rematch would be like. However, Kian has changed a lot since that first fight. He's gotten more training, he's fought more Sith. I don't know what would happen. :D
DeleteAri's location was a lot of a twist. ;) And it did soften Essa up a bit. In a way, Ari was preparation for Lessa. Although I doubt Essa would like any other kids, besides Lessa.
the Jorus minifig is... coming. I thought that I'd be able to find suitable pieces easily, but that isn't exactly the case. I'm also fairly busy, but I can work around that. As soon as I find another green lightsaber blade I should be posting it.
ReplyDeleteAh, good. Thanks.
DeleteI hope you find another blade soon, then. And I'm looking forward to seeing your depiction of Jorus.
My favorites:
ReplyDelete1. Jorus's death
2. The sweet interactions between Alessa and Essa
3. Dae's battle with Matrus and the other Sith who I can't remember now. I know it wasn't a really big thing, but I enjoyed it.
4. Si's death
5. When Ari and Kalen were reunited.
Quela Dos. Kaminoan Sith, Ellron's character.
DeleteYes, all those were very good. I'm glad you liked Ari's and Kalen's reunion.
The part in the CaC2 Battle that had the greatest impact on me was the death of Jorus. I went to bed feeling as if someone I knew well and loved had died, and that I couldn't come to grips with the fact that they were gone forever. With Jorus died a lot of CaC2's attraction.
ReplyDeleteI'm not going to leave until it's finished, though.
Great! I'm ready for more of Barras' story. :D
ReplyDeleteThat's very good. I'm glad you like what you've read so far.
DeleteI don't think CaC2's attraction died with Jorus necessarily. That was also about when school started up, but the major thing was that you, Raptor, and Jag began to be unable to access the Underground. That's the major thing, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteA touching part in CaC2? THE most touching part? That's pretty easy for me. It was the part in which I literally cried. Two tears . . . two tears. XD It was just after Kian tried to commit suicide and Kazadan, Shor, and Si showed up and Kian basically crumbled . . . that was my favorite part.
No, it was Jorus. Definitely Jorus. And the next day, CaC2's attraction was gone.
DeleteOr a lot of it, anyway.
I think the character's crumblings are most forceful for the author themselves, because the author knows their character, the things they haven't told anyone else, and their character is like…part of them.
