What is Tallusi?
Read on.
"Korriban, the birthplace of my power. I arrived as a Sith Acolyte, trained in the Dark Side; now, an apprentice to a Sith lord. My rage has purpose. I will hunt the Jedi and destroy the Galactic Republic."This quote is actually from the Korriban page on Wookieepedia. I saw it and took it for Arizael of Tallusi, the master of Jaraal Starrunner.

Hirda flicked a switch, staring at a screen showing a range of red lights. “One of Tallusi’s moons.”Tallusi has at least two moons. Glewthon is one. Droxos, mentioned briefly by Darth Pyre, is another.
“Oh? Which one?”
A peculiar smile came over Hirda’s face as he glanced at Barras. “One named Glewthon.”

Lord Radoth nodded and took a position in front of the captain’s box. “This is a mission,” he said, his voice low and soft, “of the utmost importance. This moon of ice and snow orbits Tallusi, an undercover planet, where we are carrying out the Code X mission. I don’t have permission to tell you what that is.” He paused for effect. “But there are those who would seek to hinder Code X’s success.”Here, Lord Radoth, an assassin nominally under the Sith Lord's command, talks of Tallusi and the secret mission going on there.
—Labyrinth of Death, Chapter 8
Radoth cast a look at Falex. “Tallusi is an undercover planet. That means we have successfully removed all record of it from the Jedi Archives and every other place. No, not the Jedi.” He paused again. “Our own are against us.”In the same chapter, just a few paragraphs further down, Radoth reveals more about Tallusi. He says that no one knows the location of Tallusi except for the Sith.

What really is Tallusi?
Tallusi is ruled by the Sith Octarchy, a circle of eight powerful Sith, of whom Arizael was once the leader. Before CaC2 began, the Jedi Tarmys Darumar, Cald Arenna, Jorus Travar, and several who do not appear in the Battle—Varyth Shen (Tarmys's first Padawan), Darid Kirin (a Jedi Shadow who helped train Jorus in the Shadow arts), and Tekin Amach (a friend of Cald's who was slain by Sith), fought against the Octarchy in the Koros System, which includes the planets of Koros Major, Koros Minor, Ronika, Keres II, Mandalore, and at least four more.
Two of the Sith Octarchs died previous to CaC2, Arizael, who is the wielder of the Power of Zaul, and Lord Fagard, who was slain by Darid Kirin. One of the Octarchs is mentioned in the post where Cald Arenna gave up his Force power—Lord Morug.
So, this is Tallusi. The Jedi have not yet discovered it.
But maybe they will—sometime during the Battle.

I sense a plot brewing.
ReplyDeleteI ditto Leilani. ;P It would be unfortunate if some Jedi crash-landed on Tallusi... well, unfortunate for the Jedi anyway.
