The Factions - Rankings

<Begin Transmission>

The current scores of the three primary factions--Jedi, Sith, and Bounty Hunter--have been tallied.  The scores are based on a kill:death ratio, along with a amount of characters belonging to each faction.

Jedi -- Kill/Death ratio: 0-5 Number of total members: 29
So 41 Jedi have been unable to kill a single enemy, and five of them have died. With a 17.2% death rate and no kill rate, I have to give the Jedi a current score of 2/10.  With no victories and five deaths, the Jedi have not much going for them beside sheer numbers.

Sith -- Kill/Death ratio: 7-2 Number of total members: 15
The Sith have successfully killed 8 people, with only two deaths(both at the hands of another Sith).  This gives them a 13.3% death rate and kill score of 13.2%, I give the Sith a score of 7/10.  With a near even Kill/Death percentage, the Sith currently dominate the battlefield, despite their low numbers.

Bounty Hunters -- Kill/Death ratio: 2-1 Number of total members: 9
The Bounty Hunters--while getting a lot of action--have only killed two targets.  On the other hand they have the least deaths, with Mark Tane being the only one.  The death rate of the bounty hunters is 11.1%, putting them in the leads for that category.  But with a kill score of only two out of 53 characters(3.8%), I give the Bounty Hunters a score of 5/10.  While they have a good survival percent, their small numbers and lack of offense hurts their score.

Based on the current info, the Sith are in a strong first place, and the Jedi are stumbling along far back in last.

Note: This may not be perfectly accurate, so I will make another score update some other time.  Keep in mind I am only taking into account the characters with full profiles, and the unprofiled characters that have participated in the battle.  So these numbers may change if an already created character joins the battle or gets a profile.

  1. Going by the opinions of Dae and Ver, the reason the Sith aren't dying is because they're cowardly scum who either run away when the fight starts going badly or cheat.

    The Jedi seriously need to work on their effectiveness . . . they'd dropping like flies and not getting anything done. You'd think that 43 Jedi would be able to kill at least one Sith.

  4. Leilani pointed out something that I failed to mention. I was originally going to use every single character, but halfway through I realized that half of the minor/only mentioned in passing characters hadn't actually come into play whatsoever. So I changed it to only do the characters that either A) had full profiles or B) Had taken part in the battle. But I was already halfway through, so I overlooked some characters. My next score update will be more accurate in terms of numbers.
